Review: PETIT BIJOU Cotton Snow Body Lotion

Petit Bijou is not a new product from Etude House skincare line, but I've always loved it! and you'd probably aware that I got this included in my prize from my cutie friend Lippi (thanks hun~♡) So I'll be reviewing another body lotion here >.<~ which is designed by eSpoir Pink (developed by eSpoir fragrance) and Etude House.

Product Description
This delicate body lotion is formulated with milk protein, chamomile, aloe vera extract and the Petit Bijou fragrance to soften and relieve stressed skin.
No additives (sulfates, parabens, dyes, soaps, alcohols)

How to use: Dispense product and apply to all areas of the body by gently rubbing and massaging.]

Volume: 300 ml / 10. 14 fl. oz.
Brand: Etude House ~ eSpoir Pink

First off, I have to tell you that this is my NO.1 FAVORITE BODY LOTION~!!!5_23.gif (19×19) it makes me smell like baby >ㅅ<, all powdery with certain level of freshness!1_03.gif (19×19)
as for the packaging, it came in a huge pump type bottle. You may want to buy the smaller size for tester purpose though, it's also available in 30ml tube. What I like most about the packaging is the baby-ish vibe, which looks like it's made for babies. For some reason,1_05.gif (19×19) I found it cuter than most Etude house's product.

Texture is creamy, but once it's applied to skin, it turns out to be runny and watery.  a small amount of it can already evenly spread and moisturize your skin. Unlike other body lotion (which requires me to use a large amount of cream). The moisturizing properties itself seems to be long-lasting (but not as long lasting as vaseline cocoa glow which I've previously reviewed). Actually I would love to use it daily, but it's a bit pricey... so... (heeyaaa Ms. stingy!) lolz, I use it only when I go out ^-^

I'm totally in love with Petit Bijou line! especially with this lightweight body lotion, and I'm tempted to buy the cotton snow body wash too>㉨<~

What I love:
- Smells REALLY good! (soft scent of baby powder)
- Free from harmfull irritants: Paraben free, coloring free, alcohol free, sulfates free.
- Simple yet cute packaging (as expected from Etude House~)
- Safe for sensitive skin.
- It doesn't leave a sticky residue on your skin.
- Definitely HG!

Cons:
- 'a bit' Pricey.
- The scent seems to be not long lasting.
Other than that, I love this body lotion the the most! The scent is very very soft and delicate to begin with, but when compared to the petit bijou eau de toilette (which seems to be super long lasting), the fragrance of this body lotion isn't long lasting.

Recommended for: People with normal-dry and sensitive skin, or anyone who wants to smell like a baby. ^-^

Overall Rating:Photobucket

That would be all for the review~
And for my dear readers, sorry that I didn't post much about my daily life, lolz. Me irl is a super boring person who've been busy doing job interview  =/  lolz... Review: Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Lotion

Hey yo ladies, how've you been? I hope you're doing well :3 I caught a cold, I tend to get hit by colds a lot harder than most people though, wonder why >.< laying on bed all days bored me to death( ̄△ ̄) So I think I'll be doing a quick review for my new~favorite body lotion from Vaseline, the cocoa glow~~~♥

About the product:

Product Name: Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Lotion / Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Lotion.
Volume: 200ml
Price: USD $3.00
When our skin is healthy, light reflects off the rich color below the surface, enabling it to literally glow. But when skin is dry, its surface becomes uneven and rough, leaving it looking dull.
Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Lotion penetrates deeply to smooth away roughness and the appearance of dark spots, so your skin can glow from within.

Key Ingredients:

Rich cocoa butter - helps to even skin tone, antioxidant property.
Conditioning moisturizers - leave skin smooth and supple

First, I have to tell you that this is my SUPER FAVORITE daily body lotion! Definitely a HOLY GRAIL (along with Petit Bijou Body Lotion which I'm going to review soon) It's super cheap, like USD $ 3.00 for huge 200ml bottle. What could be better? I found the whole things about this body lotion is good and it has a good value for money too.

The first thing I look about body lotion is how it smells. I love everything with COCOA in it♡, So when I spotted this I bought it on a whim. I've been a fan of Vaseline body lotion for quite a long time. I tried the whitening and firming lotion, aloe vera lotion, triple whitening care (one with the spf), soy bean lotion, but I didn't consider even one them as my favorite, at least not until I found this Cocoa butter body lotion ♥♥(o→ܫ←o)♫.

It smells like a mix of HAZELNUT, CHOCOLATE, and VANILLA! super SWEET omg It reminds me much to cocoa sundae>ㅅ
The consistency of the lotion is a bit thick, but fairly fast absorbing. It leaves my skin smooth, nourished, and super moisturized. (Better than other body lotion I've tried), thanks to the stratys multi layer moisture concept.
I live in a humid country, so it feels a little bit sticky after usage, but the kind of stickyness you can live with IMO, actually it's not that sticky, maybe the super moisturized feelings gives me a little sticky sensation.

I love the result too, I have dark spots here and there on my legs (I scratched them while sleeping and it's scarring, sob >ㅁ<) It does lighten dark spots, I've been using this for two weeks and I can notice slight improvement. Also, the 24 hours nourishing skin is true, btw I'm pretty sure that humidity also play a role on this.

Last words, I would highly recommend this for those who love sweet smelling body lotion, it has a pleasant smell and good value for money. I even bought another bottle for back up!

Overall Rating:Photobucket

Thanks for reading :3 and have a nice day everyone!

The color swatch  in the picture above is not what it turns to be because of how sheer it is, it's not as whitey as in the picture though. It has a subtle pinkish undertone. But still, the tone would suit fair skin better. (only one shade available)

dewy finish

My Comment:
So what we have here is a lightweight BB cream, that can also be used as a primer. Fweeeee~~ I absolutely love this unique concept~♡ Nice isn't it? Two in one liquid BB Cream! Which combining the benefit of primer together with the BB cream itself ^-^
It mixes pretty well with other Luview BB cream, I tried to blend a pea size of real skin primer bb cream with Luview Crystal Cover BB Cream and it works well! Eliminating the heavy cast created by crystal cover bb cream (I'll be reviewing it later) and it does help prep off my skin.
Texture is very watery and moisturizing (with elderberry, blackberry, alove vera extract, etc). I'm pretty sure you'll find it ruinier than any other BB Cream you've tried. But thanks to the texture, it eases out the blending and application because you'll never ever get get cakey look with this primer BB cream, pretty handy|ヽ(*゜▽゜*)ノ

Other thing, this BB Cream gives a natural coverage, I would rank it 2.5out of 5 because you'll still need concealer to cover up pink spots. It goes on sheer and gives a bit dewy/glowy finish (yeah not matte), adding a healthy shine on my skin... yay for dewyness~

Oil control is good, most Luview BB Cream has a good oil control IMO, it's vary from person to person though. It has a very cosmeceutical smell, so don't expect something sweety, lolz.

About the packaging, you can make your own fair judgement by looking at the pic. The first thing I love is not about the appearance but the performa. The opening of the tip is very very fine, allowing you to have great control of how much you want the product to drip out. Yeah, another absolute love for BB Cream~ ^-^

Overall Rating: Photobucket

Review: My Beauty Diary Bird's Nest Mask & Mixed Berry Mask

Today, I'll be reviewing two different types of tissue mask from the same brand, My Beauty Diary. The first one is My Beauty Diary Bird's Nest Mask.

this small mask fit me pretty damn well~!

Product Description:
My Beauty Diary Bird’s Nest Mask whitens, nourishes and renews the skin.
Bird’s nest extract, a precious ingredient, and corallina officinalis, the so-called “bird’s nest from the bottom of the sea”, intensely enhances skin’s moisture level, and nourishes strongly.
Hydrolyzed soy and rice protein enhance skin’s defence, elasticity and transparency. They also relieve discomfort resulting from dryness.
It is suitable for normal skin. It is especially recommended for dry, rough and dull skin.

Purpose: ultra whitening, nourishing, revitalizing.

My comment:
I listed this MBD Bird's nest mask as one of my favorite tissue mask because of the small shape! it fit me so damn well omg, I have small face to begin with and it's super difficult to find one that would fit me well. But finally I've found this mask *LOVE*
the scent is also super subtle. Other may find the smell is kinda irritating, but I personally love the scent. And not as it claimed, I don't feel any good result with the ultra whitening purpose (idk because I've been using a lot of brigthening product from BRTC) but my face felt revitalized and plumped. I'll recommend this mask for those who have dry skin (my skin is oily =/)

What I like: Small size that fit my face pretty well, rejuvinating, a lot of EXCESS serum, you can slather it all over your hands and legs (believe me!)
Downside: Dangerous ingredients (paraben, propylene glycol, fragrance), sticky cast ( but the kind of stickiness you can live with)

Overall rating: Photobucket

Next, I'm going to review MBD mixed berry mask. Which is, too big! lol... see the pic above.

Product Description:
Mixed Berry Extract drawn out from blue berry, raspberry, cowberry and mulberry in an exceptional beauty agent that dresses skin up with vitality and charm. It protects skin from environmental aggression, correcting problems like uneven complexion, dullness and sagging. After use, skin becomes firm, bright and translucent.
Appeals/characteristic: glittering bright and tender.
Purpose: Brighten uneven skin color, tighten loose skin (firming).

My comment:
I didn't like this mask very much. The main reason is bcuz of the size, which is way TOO big for my face. The second reason is because of the overwhelming smell. I don't know is it only me, but I constantly feeling nauseous every time I wear the mask @_@. Also, it gives me a bit sticky cast after I remove the mask, however... it doesn't bothered me much. The only good thing is... it leaves my skin nourished and plumped. As for the tightening effect, I don't think it works well too >.<~

♔Downside: super overwhelming scent, sticky, doens't fit my face well.

Overall Rating: Photobucket

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you soon~!
NOTE: I've been recruiting beauty blogger for forthcoming GIVEAWAY event and I still need two decent beauty blogger from VIETNAM and THAILAND, so if you're a beauty blogger, settled in Vietnam, or Thailand. Please do contact me ASAP. Thank you ・㉨・

Review: KOJI Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner Brown

Hi lovelies, say hello to my first ever Dolly Wink product! hoho... I've always wanted to try Dolly Wink since everyone on blogsphere is raving about it (especially the eyeliner~) and so, ARTIE has kindly sent me Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner for review purpose. Thank you Artie~~~ (Picture spam post, but no worries, friendly image size♡)

Well, I knew that there's already tons of review of this baby, but another review wouldn't hurt ^.~
Product description: Dolly Wink is a cosmetic collection from Koji designed by Tsubasa Masuwaka, a Japanese fashion model and the gyaru icon. Tsubasa's concept is to help every girls to achieve a super cute but mature look with Dolly Wink. Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner (Brown) is a water proof eyeliner. The pencil is soft and smooth, allowing you to draw natural eye lines easily. It doesn't smudge or fade throughout the day easily.

Price: USD $ 14.99
Where to buy: ARTIESTYLE ( They sell a lot of Japanese brand cosmetics and ship worlwide. So if you're in the US, buying from Artie is a good idea because the shipping is faster instead of ordering from online store located in Asia.)

Packaging: PhotobucketOne of reason why I listed this as Holy Grail, packaging is way too ADORABLE! I love love LOVE the packaging, can't get any cuter than this!♥♥(o→ܫ←o)♫ Brown and pink color combo is definitely my favorite.>ㅅ<
Texture: Photobucketjust like the product tag, texture is very FUNWARI, or should I say, soft ^^ and creamy. I like it because it has a right amount of creaminess. Draws smooth lines.
Color: Photobucketsubtle light brown color, not a super rich brown though.  By adjusting the pressure, you can  make soft or bold opaque lines.
Smudgeproofness: Photobucket パンダ目になりにくい, so true, it says that it won't gives you PANDA eyes! lolz. It stays nicely unless I give them rough rub. Good thing is, it doesn't smear like other cheapie pencil eyeliner.
Waterproofness: PhotobucketIt appears to be really water resistance. It won't wear off in contact with water.
Lasting: PhotobucketAwfully nice and VERY long lasting. Bear in mind that this is vary from person to person, depends on your skintype. I use compact powder as a base and this pencil hardly smears on me.

Loves: I love every tiny bits of this eyeliner! it didn't drag or pull my eye area, doesn't transfer to eyelids, NATURAL result and 'everyday look' friendly (ya know what I mean~^-^) it doesn't smudge easily, long lasting.
Cons: It's a bit waste since we have to sharpen it TT^TT, A lil bit expensive >ㅁ< , and it doesn't work out too well if you want to create a thick line but other than that is perfect.

Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner Swatch:
Rough rub and it will smudge

I lined the upper lash line, and also the inner corner of my eyes. This is how I wear my pencil eyeliner on lazy days. lolz... Cuz actually I don't really like to wear gel type eyeliner. On some occassion, I love using this on my lower lash line and on the inner corners of my eye with black eyeliner gel on upper lash line :D

As for the sharpener, I use pencil eyeliner sharpener from Daiso. It's a 'marui' type, or rounded type that keeps your pencil's tip round and 'a bit' blunt.

Overall, this is truely a HOLY GRAIL, and IMO all the hype about Dolly Wink is true, it's truely everything it's been hyped up to be! definitely repurchase, I'm very impressed with the product and I feel like buying the liquid eyeliner >㉨< I think I've fallen in love with Dolly Wink and Candy Doll products, mwahaha... they're totally irresistible omg help me. I'M NOT GOOD AT SAVING MONEY, but GOOD AT SPENDING IT. Holy guacamole HAHAHAHAHA!!! >ㅅ<

And to fill my vanity space, harhar...~♡  'few' selcas here to show you my new fringe.

Well, that would be all ^㉨^ Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the post. Oh, I would like to know if you have any suggestion for 'worth to try' pencil eyeliner. And also... please tell me what is your favorite pencil eyeliner~ I feel like trying other brand now. Okay, I'll see you soon~
