Review: PETIT BIJOU Cotton Snow EAU DE TOILETTE

Hey lovelies! I'll be reviewing the one and only perfumes that I LOVE, from my favorite line, PETIT BIJOU! And I just want to say, I LOVE PETIT BIJOU COTTON SNOW, I LOVE it, I LOOOOVE it already!

PETIT BIJOU eau de toilette collection is created by french fragrances expert, Laurent Bruyere and Elie Papiernik. Thanks to them, I can finally own two (YES, two!) bottles of my very first perfume ever! Well yeah, actually, I'm not a big fan of eau de toilette because I have a very sensitive nose and I can't stand the strong smell because it would stings my nose , yuck! My mother have a dresser full of eau de toilette and not even one bottle pleased me =/ But this little baby in 30ml bottle has a different story! I've had this item for 5 months, I bought two bottles of COTTON SNOW at Etude House year end sale, 50% off, which is... too good to be true! Owww yeaaah! I was so VERY happy ♥♥(o→ܫ←o)♫.

Top Notes: Fresh Fruit Mix
Middle Notes: Floral Bouquet
Bottom Notes: Powdery

I've already had a crush to cotton snow even before I decided to buy it. (waiting for year end sale discount of course=p) It has a very SOFT smell that's mostly of baby powder and sweet chamomile, and I love how it makes me smell like BABY!
As for the moment, this has become my signature scent. Baby-ish, powderish, somewhat fresh, and I feel comfy everytime I wear it. Although it claims to have a fresh fruit mix scent, I can barely detect the fruityness. The mildness of the fragrance is not something sweet and soft like white musk from the body shop, it's somewhat fresh, freshness that reminds me much to a baby that just finished taking a bath.
The bottle itself is very cute. Sturdy glass with silver pump and plastic cap. I love the white rubber in petal-like-shape around the pump, super kawaii~!

I tried to visualize the fragrance with this picture compilation

By now you might already know how much I love this baby! Teheehee... I absolutely adore the fragrance and I feel totally hooked and I swear I won't wear any other eau de toilette 'til I finish the two bottles, and most prolly repurchase.

Love Rating:Photobucket

So yeah, that's all for the review. And I hope you care to share your favorite perfumes too ^-^
I gotta go now, see ya girls and take care~

Review: MAC Fluidline Eyeliner Gel in Blacktrack

Hello dollies, how is your weekend going? Mine is pretty boring, laid back days.... Oh lolz, I'm really going to find a new job soon! So yea, this is what I got from my Mom's besfriend six months ago, the over hyped MAC Fluidline Eyeliner Gel in Blacktrack!

Mac's product description:

Ultra smooth, fluidline's gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on 'foolproof' with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long wearing. Smudge-proof.  Lines up in a rich array of colours and finishes. Brush sold separately.

My verdict & comment:
I have never had much luck with an eyeliner gel, or actually, you'll never have much luck with eyeliner gel especially when you are residing in a tropical country like me. I've tried other brands like Maybelline, Etude house, and I had a pretty bad experience with them (panda eyes, you know lah) (✪ܫ✪). And not even one of them could withstand a day. So one day, I told (almost whining, mwahaha) my Mom that I wanted the eyeliner gel from MAC, badly! I can just buy it myself though, but a friend of her was so kind that he bought me the eyeliner gel a few days later. I'LL BE DAMNED! lolzzz~ I know I'm super late on this, but I'm glad that I can finally try it!

So yea, it goes on smooth and easy to control. Leaving a very smooth finish, almost liquid liners like but much more softer.
What amazed me most is the staying power, I couldn't even believe that I've already found my HG eyeliner gel, believe me or not, it's super humid here (no exaggerating here~) and it only budges a little on top of my oily lids. Though, I've never forgot to apply a base before put the eyeliner on.  Yesterday, I wore it for a whole day, 12 hours, and only a little bit of the eyeliner got transfered to my lower eyelid area. But it was easy to fix as always. No worries~

The blacktrack is a very pigmented black, with a REAL deep black undertone (not bluish black like maybelline lasting drama eyeliner gel). One or two dip on a brush goes a long way. Glides on smoothly also when you apply it to the waterline!  It doesn't budge easily, doesn't flake or look cakey.

The only downside of the product is the horrendous price! (USD $22.00 in my place, it's actually USD $15.00 though.)

This eyeliner gel is absolutely amazing and the most versatile one I've ever used. Highly recommended! It can creates dramatic look and as well as natural look. The ease of use makes this eyeliner become begginers-friendly too.

Pink pointed eyeliner brush
And this is the eyeliner brush I've been using to apply the MAC eyeliner gel. Actually I love to use both the angled brush and the pointed brush. I got this together with the fake etude house eyeliner gel that I accidentally bought year ago, boo me! But luckily, the eyeliner brush is still usable and surpisingly become my favorite pointed and 'cute looking' eyeliner brush. ヽ(*゜▽゜*)ノ it has a very soft  and thin bristles.

Okay, Hope this review will be helpful, I'll be back with more review (and a mini hairstyle post)~ tehee ~~~ヾ(^∇^) Toodledos!

HATERS and FAKER, this is just too much!

Actually I was just about to host a circle lens giveaway when I noticed something...that is very VERY RUDE... Well I just don't know how to explain it. Just take a look:

It's a screenshoot from a dear blogger friend, I won't mention a name here (unless you know her). She's a pretty blogger and always leave a nice comment on my post. When I came across her blog, I found someone's been using my name and posted a VERY RUDE COMMENT on her shoutbox widget. Yeah, he/she even linked it back to: sparkleapple.blogspot.com. So you imagine, someone, with a very rude comment, use a REAL nickname and REAL blog url when commenting on other's shoutbox. Make sense, eh?

So I quickly make a blogpost because I just don't want there to be any misunderstanding. Because I'm not that kind of Rindodo! TT__________TT
I would never ever insult someone like that, not to everyone, moreover, not to a dear reader and fellow bloggers.

I don't know but I think this is just too much for someone, using my nickname (and my blog url) and did something low and tricky like this. I don't even have any single idea who the culprit is, maybe one of my old haters that HATE me so much and WANTS MORE PEOPLE TO HATE ME? LOL, you seriously think it will work that way dude? HAHA.

UPDATE:
a friend told me that this FAKE RINDODO been doing this for quite a while. Well, here's another rude comment on my friend's shoutbox:

UPDATE:
I should say thanks to MIHARU, she helped me checking the LOCATION of the faker by looking up the IP ADDRESS. So apparently the faker came all the way from the Philippines. (112.208.235.180)
I think I know who the culprit is.

you're a shame to Philippines o:

Btw, thanks anyway for giving me HUGE blog-traffic =p lol...

Review: Maybelline MINERALS BB Cream

Hello readers, thanks for visiting my blog~♥ This time, I'll be reviewing Maybelline Clear Smooth MINERALS BB Cream.

Benefit:
Brightens skins: visible whitening effect.
Covers imperfections: reduces the appearance of pores, skin redness disappears.
Moisturizes+Protects: all day hydration + helps to protect skin from UV rays and free radicals. (SPF 26/PA+++)

Clinically proven: No oil. No fragrance. No pore clogging. Even suitable for sensitive skin. Dermatologist tested.

Swatches ~ Photo taken under natural outdoor light
Yea I admit that I'm a sucker for BB Cream and I will never ever leave my house without a layer of BB cream on my face! LOLZ! ok..actually~ I'm grateful with my oily and 'minor' acne prone skin, but sometimes I just feel insecure about my skins. So that's why I bought a tube of Maybelline BB cream when I was in Jakarta last year, it was super urgent because I had to stay in Jakarta for a week without any preparation. I didn't bring any of my BB cream with me~ Holyguacamole~ I rushed to local drugstore and bought this on a whim.

My first impression of the BB cream is: "NOT BAD."  I didn't have high expectations of a drugstore BB cream, but was pretty impressed with the result, and began to like it.
It gives a semi matte finish, blends well with my natural skin color and the texture is light and runny enough to be applied using a foundation brush.

It claims that it will help brightens skin, with continuous use I assume. I haven't checked it myself, though, I personally think BB cream won't help out whiten our skins.

All in all, Maybelline BB cream can be a pretty good daily BB cream. Recommended for those with oily skin, it has a great oil control properties and suitable for sensitive skins.

What I like:
- Sun protection, SPF26/PA+++
- No fragrance.
- Suitable for sensitive skin.
- Gives me no acne issues.
- Moisturizing.
- Very affordable price :)
- Mini packaging (18ml)

What I don't like:
- Lack of coverage.
- Contains parabens.

Oil Control:Photobucket
Overall Rating:Photobucket

Okay, that's all for the review ^-^~
I'll be hosting a circle lens giveaway on my next post, so please stay tuned! ~♥♥♥

Price: USD $ 13.80
Benefit : Whitening, Pure moisturizing essence
Skin types : Oily, Sensitive, Combination Skin
Formula : Cream
Volume : 40ml

From the very first time I read the description of the product on Luview's catalogue, I had a feeling that I'm going to love this BB Cream! As I've said before, I love everything that has less chemical ingredients in it. The VERY good thing about this BB cream is: it's FREE from PARABEN & TALC! ♥

I've been using this BB Cream for more than a month now, and yea I love it! Especially for everyday use (like, when hanging out with friends or any other informal events). It offers a sheer coverage, very natural one., I think it's due to its consistency, which is 'very' watery and runny, more like a primer than a bb cream, for me at least~ You can check the picture below, I have a few minor bumps on my cheek, it's still there, however, the redness become less visible.
If in your heads, you think that most of Korean BB cream can often cast a grayish tone, or ashy, don't be judgemental yet. Luview's BB cream (I've already tried all of them) leaning towards beige-ish tone. It doesn't make my skin look dull. It evens out my skin really well.

As for the whitening properties, it's KFDA certified, though, I didn't notice any major changes with my skin tone. I can't really tell because I usually use different BB cream each days.

What I like more about this BB cream is its moisturizing properties! as I've said before, it has a very watery consistency, so I think that's why this BB cream won't accentuate dry areas on your skin. It blends well and sit on your skin nicely.

So yeah, I definitely recommend this BB cream for those who loves to apply BB cream on daily basis. It's free from paraben and talc, so feel free to wear it everyday! Teehee♥♥(o→ܫ←o)♫.

Me, wearing LUVIEW Aqua Essence Whitening BB cream:
